As others have said, there are no mods right now. The devs are actively opposing any game modifications at the moment.
We'll see if that changes later.If the game detects modified unit settings, it will crash on boot with a Steam.dll error.If the game detects mods to the base code, it will wait about 2 ingame days and then nearly disable the physics engine for units. All units will be effectively stuck in place.I can understand why the devs don't want people distributing modifications. I just wish they didn't take such a heavy handed approach. I get nearly as much enjoyment from exploring and modding game code as I do playing the base game. Finding out that the devs are intentionally blocking access to half the game's enjoyment is frustrating. There is an element of competitiveness to TaB, even if it's not MP.

If mods were allowed without restriction, leaderboards and achievements would quickly become pointless. The game is hard and one of the first things to be modded would be easier balance in some way. Tacking away some of the incentive to just play vanilla and experiencing the suffering of losing on easy.I totally understand why the Devs want to discourage mods for this reason. But with careful management (maybe new maps have to be unlocked without mods being used) they could still make a positive difference to the game.I'd love to see mods with new buildings new units, maybe even new zombie buildings too, with new effects. I think a TC with robots instead of zombies would be awesome - and lots more.
