Is this something I should do? I know my server is updated for the patch that came out yesterday, as I've been playing on it today. Steam pushed a new version to all clients and servers yesterday. Some servers (like mine) did not get the update. Usually a simple server reboot would force the update, but that didn't work. Cancel avast cleanup premium trial. Had to open a ticket to get it to work. Now under the mods there is a way for admins to update the server.if you try to connect to an unpatched server you will get an error in console indicateing that you are trying to connect to a server with a 1010 protocol where a 1011 is expected.running the patch should also make your server visible in the steam cloud.
